This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful group of learners who come from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. While my students come from hard-working families, some of them are lacking the necessities to be successful in today's world. Many of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch, but all of them love to learn. My students are creative, independent thinkers who are maturing and gaining a much-needed strong foundation for middle school. My goal is for each student to improve as much as possible and build the most solid foundation possible for their future education.
My Project
A cricut machine will be a great addition to our classroom and grade level as we will be able to use it to make our classrooms more welcoming and pleasing. We can also use the cricut to make iron on t-shirts, customize cups and to make decorations for our classrooms. Our students will be able to customize designs for various projects in Social Studies or to make the books they write for writing workshop extra special. The students will have a lot of fun using the digital software to create designs for their projects. This cutting machine will be a great tool for both our students and teachers.
