My Project

Thank you for considering funding my project. I'm a 1st grade teacher in a rural school in Southwest Missouri. My students have very limited access to a variety art supplies. These art supplies will provide my students with many opportunities to interact creatively with academic learning, as well as developing fine motor skills. In using the letter stamps and ink pads, my kids will be connecting letter knowledge to developing fine motor skills. The kids will also develop communication skills by interacting with peer in a cooperative community. It is exciting to see early learners connect reading and math skills with the creativity of art. My students need construction paper, erasers, Sharpies, and an art supply organizer.
