Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items will allow my students to learn and experience how herbs and vegetables can be grown in a different way. Many students only know about growing food in soil in the ground. They will learn what hydroponics are and how they operate. What makes my students special is that they love science and learning something new. My goal for this project is that students will be able to grasp a new concept and one day maybe have their own garden at home.

They will learn how farm to table works and how we can grow food without chemicals and we do not have to rely on grocery stores for all the foods we eat.
