Help me give my students a nice place to sit during our classroom community time. We have a class meeting at the end of every day, including a story to get our reading comprehension up, and SEL time.

My Project
My students need a place to sit together in a circle at the end of the day. We gather together and share a reflection about our day, stories, reading, feelings, and other activities, but they are currently on an old rectangular hand me down rug and students are struggling not to trip on the corners.
Our classroom community time is deeply important to this group, where we reflect on our day, what we learned, and once a week, they hold a nomination for the start student of the week.
We read a story together that students choose based on interest, to encourage reading as a fun activity that is enjoyable. We sometimes play games, teach social emotional lessons, and build relationships in our classroom. Currently, squeezing into an area rug that does not fit us hasn't worked, so students sit roughly around it. The corners of the old rug get lifted, causing a tripping hazard. They would like someplace nice to sit, that represents the community circle we share.
