My Project

My students are in a specialized behavior program where we focus on behaviors, including safety, following directions, handling frustration, patience, and accepting no. We practice these skills in a lot of different ways. We do this by playing games in small groups or as a class.

In this project, I've included different games and activities chosen to help students develop these social and behavioral skills.

These skills will help them meet their behavior goals, goals like, following directions, managing frustration and communicating respectfully. There are a variety of activities that I thought would be engaging and motivating for students to play with each other and their teachers to practice these much-needed skills. We strategically use these activities during social skills lessons and during social times in the classroom.
