This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Fifth grade is departmentalized and therefore I have over 60 students that come in and out of my classroom to use. I plan to use the materials I have requested to help enhance the atmosphere of my classroom. The beanbag chairs will allow students to have more options in flexible seating and provide comfort in those areas. The rug will be helpful for my classrooms decor as well because my current rug is very old and students do not enjoy laying on it. Both items would improve the overall student experience when working in different spots around the classroom.
