This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are asking for a large room humidifier to improve the extreme dry air in our classroom. The air is so dry, that our students are suffering from frequent nose bleeds, and painful dry skin. Additionally, we are asking for florescent light covers to diffuse the harsh lighting in our class.
Students with autism often have sensory needs that impact their ability to learn.
Physical discomfort is difficult for any student to deal with, but for students with autism, it can be absolutely unbearable. These materials are a simple way that we can support students of every ability in the classroom.
