I teach fifth-grade students at a Title I school in Iowa. My students come from diverse backgrounds with 90% from high poverty situations. Most of my students have limited technology and school supplies. Through all these challenges my students still enjoy learning.
All of my students deserve the very best education possible, no matter their background, and I strive to help them succeed every day.
Even though they do not always have the extra support and materials at home, they come to school each day, giving their best effort. My students are bright, successful and determined. But, they need your help to succeed!
In today's classroom, there isn't a lot of time for science or hands-on learning. Our classroom has a 20 gallon and a 5 gallon tank for students to learn about taking care of an aquarium. From keeping the ph balanced to feeding the fish and snails, students learn first hand about science.
With these plants and aquatic life, my students will be engaged in their work and taking care of an aquarium first hand.
The plants will help oxygenate the water and create shelter for future fry. The Fancy Tail Guppies will add color to the tank and create a unique & fun aquarium.
