My Students

We are a High School band program in its 11th. We opened the doors to our beautiful campus in 2006 and have the grown the program to 250+ students. The students work extremely hard to achieve excellence.

The students that come into my classroom every day are hard working and polite young men and women.

They like the challenge of being great and holding themselves accountable. We have instilled a great standard of excellence in our school whether it is academically, athletically or musically. The students on our campus try to make change in the community and stay on the forefront of their generation. I teach 250 band students who at some point in their HS career will be a leader in some way or another. We have many students working to help each other get better on their instruments, as well as helping one another become good stewards for society.

My Project

Our students will use the pianos for a music performance practice opportunities. We have solo and ensemble contest once a year and need the resources for the students to best prepare for contest. We will also be able to utilize the pianos for or AP music theory classes and Theater Musicals. T

In the music classroom, we are always discussing collaboration with other musicians and this is an opportunity for them to work together and with professionals.

Using the pianos for each individual student will allow us to better meet the needs of the students and plan our lessons around what students need. The students are being held to a very high standard and perform at a very high level when they work together and collaborate.
