Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Young children tend to share lots of germs so daily cleaning is required in our preschool classroom, even more since the COVID-19 pandemic. We need various cleaning supplies, such as Lysol disinfecting wipes, soap and laundry detergent to help keep our classroom clean and the germs away. These supplies will be used to help prevent the spread of germs which will help reduce illness among my students.

A clean class will allow students to continue to remain healthy, as they return to in-person learning, healthy students mean fewer absences, which allows for a better learning environment, these cleaning supplies will help keep our classroom germ-free.

These supplies will not only help prevent the spread of germs, they also will help to teach students about the importance of a clean learning environment and the many benefits of it. The soap will allow my students to keep their hands clean and germ-free. The disinfecting wipes will allow us to keep our desks and surroundings free from dirt as well. There will be less illness among students with these supplies. Students are more focused in a clean learning environment, as well as teaching them the responsibility of caring for their classroom as they help keep it clean.
