This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My freshmen students are enrolled in Seminar I class. This class aims to focus on giving students a chance to start exploring their pathway options. In other words, we want our students to research all the pathways available for them to be successful after completing their high school education.

With that in mind, my students will need access to Chromebooks in order to research tasks related to the pathways in order to make wise and informed decisions.

While my class has been blessed with Chromebooks from previously funded projects, we are now running into additional technology issues because they are freezing and crashing a lot. Thus, these issues, bring frustration as it keeps us from having a smooth learning experience.

Additionally, we would like to have Lysol wipes available to clean the Chromebooks as they will be used among five classes, and we want to ensure they are clean after each use to maintain our health.
