Technology is vital in today's classroom environment. Learning has vastly changed over time, and laptops are so important for student's learning.
Chromebooks can be used for research, classwork, and even for students to finish their exit projects/community service requirements.
From projects to classroom work to tests can now be done online. Some of my students do not have their own laptops, or they forget their school-issued laptops at home; having a classroom set of laptops that they can access in the room is a great help. I am trying to get a good amount of laptops to replace older Chromebooks to add to my classroom set.
