My Students
My students are a group of enthusiastic learners! My math and science classroom is filled with creativity and problem solving. In order to foster growth, our classroom needs technology to support the 21st Century learner in our fast paced world.
Students will explore learning math and science through the use of technology.
My students are an energetic group that likes fun and challenging problems. The students are a group of diverse 6th graders from a suburban school containing approximately 900 students.
My Project
By incorporating the Chromebooks into our daily learning activities, not only will we be able to complete project-based learning, we will be able to share learning experiences. Students will learn the necessary typing skills, understanding of computer programs and strengthen their research skills in today's ever changing technological society. Technology is a crucial aspect in a child's education and in the preparation to ensure that they are college and career ready. Technology appeals to a variety of learners and it will enable me to really make a difference in each of my students' education and differentiate to meet each one of their individual needs. Working with a variety of computer programs and multitude of online resources will provide my students with not only enrichment activities, it can also provide remedial assistance to those in need.
Having Chromebooks in our classroom would open the doors to a well rounded curriculum with a variety of resources and learning opportunities for us to engage in.
It would help us to meet today's standards and help us to become college and career ready. With having an education on how to use these materials for more than just games, we will learn how to apply our technology skills to help our education and better our understanding of today's standards.
