I am fortunate enough to teach in a district that is 1:1 devices for students. My students all have Chromebooks to use with their learning each day. Due to this, much of our learning is done on Chromebooks.
Kids are human- they forget too.
Sometimes the Chromebook is left at home. Sometimes it is in need of repair and has been sent off. When either of these situations happens, my students do not have a Chromebook to use in class and cannot get the full richness out of lessons.
I would love to have a Chromebook to keep in the classroom for when a student does not have one. This would allow my students to continue to participate fully in class and not fall behind.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
