This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine your students asking to go into a specific area and the cupboard is almost empty of supplies and then their little eyes look up to you and say, "I don't have anything to play with", so now they want to go into another area. My students experience this everyday.

My students school is located in a impoverished area 92% free lunch.

Many of my students come from single parents home...they are dependent upon school breakfast and lunches to get them through the day. My students are excited about coming to school because it creates a safe environment in which they can go out and play for once,

My Project

I am required to create a hands-on Centered learning environment by which the children can access without an assistant. I am creating a Math and literacy Center. For my Math Center I need realistic material that my students can touch and feel and relate to everyday experiences such as Early Math Manipulative Library with realistic items. in my Literacy Center, I need a table top writing Center with all materials such as thick pencils, Dr. Seuss Classic hard covered books and chart paper.

With your help in assisting my student with realistic items that they can touch , feel and manipulative in their Math and Literacy Centers will be boost in the early growth learning experience.
