My Project
Coming together as a group throughout the school day is important for students both socially and academically. A large classroom carpet like this one would pose this moment for these children.
While working in a special education classroom, opportunities like these are even more important to help students collaborate, turn take, share thoughts and ideas as well as engage in simple conversation while not always being at their desks.
Students in my classroom are always found sitting at their desks or at group tables. This carpet would give them the chance to be able to sit together as a group during lessons, morning meetings or group activities. There are many new opportunities that this new carpet would present for students in my classroom and will be loved by many.
