This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to have this rug for my kindergarten classroom because it’s big enough where all my students would have their own spot during lessons. I do many lessons on the rug and when students know exactly where to sit, it helps tremendously with transition time. My students would also use this space during free play. It will provide a nice area for them to play with manipulatives or puzzles. This rug meets the fire code which is important to me. My classroom is in desperate need of a new rug and my students and I would greatly appreciate it!
