My Project
A calming corner in the classroom offers students a dedicated space to manage emotions, fostering emotional regulation and self awareness. This safe, quiet area equipped with a bean bag chair and tent would help the students to de-escalate stress and refocus on learning. This would provide a non-punitive outlet for emotional challenges, it encourages students to develop coping strategies and supports their mental health. This help me to benefit from fewer classroom disruptions, promoting a positive learning environment. Ultimately, the calming corner nurtures resilience and emotional growth, empowering students to engage more effectively in their education and interpersonal relationship with their environment
