My Project

In the dynamic environment of today's classrooms, fostering a sense of well-being and emotional regulation is essential for optimal student learning. Establishing a dedicated "Calm Corner" within our classroom will provide a tranquil space where students can recharge, reflect, and develop crucial social-emotional skills.

Project Components:

Bean Bag Seating:

We seek to introduce comfortable bean bag seating to the Calming Corner, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere for students to relax and unwind. Bean bags provide a flexible seating option that accommodates different preferences and promotes a sense of comfort and security.

SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) Resources:

Incorporating a variety of SEL resources, including books, games, and activities, will enable students to engage in self-reflection, mindfulness, and emotional expression.These resources will be carefully selected to support the unique social-emotional needs of our diverse student population.

Decorative Elements:

The environment will be designed to promote a sense of tranquility and create a visually appealing space that encourages relaxation and focus.
