My Project

Kindergarten is a fun and exciting environment, but it can also be chaotic and overwhelming at times. To help support students social and emotional needs, especially in the wake of COVID, I want to setup a place in our classroom that they can go to when they feel the need to take a break. This zone will have calming and relaxing seating and a board with various activities to help reinforce a reset. This zone will encourage students to pay attention to times they need to have an emotional and social calm down period.
