Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
During COVID a lot of assignments students were completing were digital, which was great because it allowed them to improve their typing skills, however, it also caused their penmanship skills to decline. Now that students are back in the school, incorporating opportunities that allow students to write and practice their penmanship is crucial. With the paper, it will allow me to print off activities for reading, writing and ELA that will support students in continuing to practice their writing skills. The sticky notes will also support students in improving their handwriting skills, because the sticky notes can be used during whole group instruction and students can write their answers on the sticky notes.
