My Students

This is my second year teaching with both years including the difficult task of teaching during a pandemic. These past two years we have seen so much change but what has not change is the need for education. This pandemic has hurt these children emotionally, physically, and educationally. I hope my classroom is a safe place for these students and allows them the best chance of an education that they can get during these continued difficult times.

In my classroom, I try to include different teaching strategies for all different learning types, for my kinesthetic learners, my audio learners, and my visual learners.

With our new use on technology, this allows me to do so. Most days, the students are teaching me more about technology than I even know. They are hard workers, determined, loving, and have a great sense of humor. These students are definitely one of a kind!

My Project

The items in this project are necessary to my classroom for everyday performance. My students are supposed to come prepared to my classroom everyday however sometimes they forget. Having these items in my classroom with offer the kids grace and allow them to continue to do what is asked of them instead of trying to figure out where they can get supplies from. I teach in a Title1 School district so it is harder to expect these kids to go out and get all of the items themselves. Having these items in my classroom will allow the kids to not have one more thing to worry about and allow them to come into my classroom to get the education and love that they needed deserve.
