Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classroom are bright and excited learners. They would like nothing more than to learn and enjoy their school in a safe environment. They come from diverse backgrounds and enjoy coming to school. My boys and girls have the best smiles and are ready to learn new things each and every day.
Most of our students are from low-income homes, and 90% of our class consists of students who are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
These boys and girls are book lovers who always want to learn and explore. Upon meeting these great kids, I was already hooked on their engaging and unique personalities. We are looking forward to an exceptional school year.
My Project
We are looking forward with anticipation to a great 2021-2022 school year. We have the hope and confidence that learning and instruction will go back to normal and be even better than ever. The products I have selected will help to lead students in the direction of a new and promising school year. The plastic folders will help to organize their work and keep papers in place. The Ticonderoga pencils will help to deliver extra smooth performance in their writing. The Happy Birthday bracelets will help in making students feel special on their day.
The printer will be a fundamental asset in creating visual aids for students, helping to communicate concepts to the students, and maintaining hard copies of work and projects during a lesson.
The Kleenex Facial Tissue can help keep students' hands clean and can also help support a healthy classroom. The Astrobrights colored paper makes activities more impressive for students, while they learn new skills. The ear buds are excellent so that each child can have his or her own personal set of earphones without fear of spreading germs.
These items will be extremely beneficial for students to start this new year with great new supplies. I have seen firsthand the positive effect that having new supplies, provided by their teacher, makes kids' motivation, attitude and self esteem grow!
