I teach at a Title I school with a diverse student population. The students in my classroom absolutely love learning, but the method and environment in which they learn best differ greatly. A variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options are offered to make sure that each students' needs are met. These students are an incredible, energetic group, and I am looking forward to adding more technology into our classroom. More technology will allow students to work independently while I teach others in a small group.
My Project
Please help my students by supplying basic classroom supplies such as paper, pencils, and markers. My class uses Expo markers daily in order to prepare for state testing. The Expos dry up quickly, so a few extra would be helpful. The colorful paper is used for printing task cards that students use to practice the skills that I have taught. Extra pencils are always a must since the students use them so quickly. The markers will be used when we are creating projects to display the skills that we have learned throughout the term. All of these basic supplies would be used daily in my classroom.
