This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The boys and girls are a great bunch of little scholars. They love to do hands-on activities and enjoy student and teacher made learning activities. The little scholars are eager to learn and strive for excellence. My students are diverse and love our class community. We are in a Title I school, so many of my students have economic and environmental challenges that can affect their learning.

I want them to love coming to school and never feel like they missed out on an opportunity to be successful.

Budget cuts throughout education have been extremely detrimental for our students.

Without the help from generous donors, like yourself, many children would be very limited.

My Project

We are about half way through the school year. Many of the boys and girls are in need of replenishing various items.

The children need classroom basics to complete learning activities.

The children need scissors for station activities. Some children have used all the pages in their composition books and are in need of new ones to complete math and reading learning activities.

Two of the groups have broken their tape dispensers. Pages get torn and the tape dispensers sure do help. Many of the boys and girls also need to replace dried out and dull makers, highlighters, and pens so that they can complete group activities.

Our classroom is also in need of copy paper. It is need for learning assignments in reading and math. Finally the binders are need to hold the spelling and handwriting sheets.

Your help will ensure that the children have the school supplies needed to learn in a worry free classroom.
