Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch at our Title I school. The majority of my students come from low-income families. Some students have hardships at home, so I try to provide a safe, warm classroom environment to help them succeed academically.

My kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students are sweet and energetic.

They are kind, compassionate children who care for everyone around them. They are enthusiastic and inquisitive. They enjoy learning cognitive and social skills through play. They work hard and love to be challenged.

My Project

Kindergarten is the first school experience for most students. This year, because of the pandemic, school is online. My students are learning to write at home without the necessary materials to write letters and numbers correctly.

My kindergarten students are in need of paper, crayons, and pencils to make learning from home possible.

Your donation will help provide basic supplies my students need to develop writing skills. If our project gets funded, I will distribute these materials through curbside pick-up at our school. Your contribution will help my students receive the quality education they need and deserve!
