Classroom Basics for a Fresh, Healthy Start!

Help me give my students individual dry-erase boards, assorted card stock for flash cards, Kleenex tissues, and cleaning products to start the year off right!

My Students

I am lucky to teach 17 wonderful kindergarten students in a small, rural community in Florida. My school is a Title I school, with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges that my students face outside of the classroom, they are hard-working and eager to learn each and every day. From the minute they walk in my door, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I love teaching kindergarten and I want my students to love learning!

My Project

These classroom basics will give my students a fresh, healthy start to the new school year with individual dry-erase boards, assorted card stock to print flashcards on, storage containers, Kleenex tissues, and supplies to maintain a clean learning environment.

I know that beginning school this year will be more challenging than most due to COVID-19.

I want to ensure that my students have the materials needed to be successful during their kindergarten year. I want to be able to provide bottles of water for students to keep at their desk so we are not sharing germs at the water fountain. The cleaning supplies, such as disinfectant wipes and spray, will allow me to keep my classroom a healthy and safe environment so that we can focus on LEARNING!
