This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hydration is an important part of being healthy, active, and alert. One of the classroom basics my students need are sanitary cups available to drink water in the classroom. Having cups in the classroom will minimize the time that students will need to leave class and allow them to stay hydrated and feel cared for.

Stainless steel cups with lids for our water station will provide an essential need for my students to stay healthy and alert.

We currently don't have cups with lids for students in the classroom. Many students can't afford water bottles or may simply forget to bring them to school. Nearby water fountains are constantly in need of repair or filters in need of replacement. Students should be able to get a drink of water in their own classroom, where their teacher could watch them and make sure they are in a safe environment while staying healthy, hydrated and ready to learn.
