I have a wonderful and diverse group of students. I have over six different languages spoken in my classroom. Many of my students speak very little English and have just recently come to the United States as refugees from other countries. The diversity in the classroom can cause challenges for teaching, but it also makes my room unique and special. I wouldn't have it any other way.
My students love to learn, laugh and play.
They are curious, self-motivated learners who always want to know more.
My Project
We are requesting colored copy paper in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. My students will be using this paper for arts and crafts projects. Our projects relate to the theme we are working on. For example, we are learning about animals so we have been making elephants, giraffes, and zebras out of paper and art supplies. We are also going to use this paper to send home letters and notes to parents. The colored paper will make the letters more festive and hopefully stand out so parents receive the important information.
We are also requesting colored tape.
This tape will be used as art supplies for our students and also to display our work for everyone to see!
