Help me give my students these materials as they continue to love to learn and read. They will be so excited to read on the comfy couches with a buddy. And to also have a lending library!
My students are wonderful 5th grade students who love to read fiction and nonfiction books. They love to buddy read as well as read independently and also listen to audiobooks. We would love to incorporate a lending library in which students could take books to and from school. We would also love an audio library where students could listen to books on tape with headphones etc. This would really continue to bring out the love and joy of reading in our classroom.
My Project
My students will be able to read at home with the help of the lending library! My students will have the opportunity to listen to books in a comfortable relaxing space in our classroom with headphones. This project will help continue and enhance their love of reading. Due to Covid-19 students have spent time away from the classroom in which there has been learning loss. I'm inspired by the fact that my students still crave literature and the time to have that learning time in our classroom. They also love that they can read with a friend.
