My Students

Our students are ready and willing to take on the challenges of a 21st century education. They have many diverse styles of learning and need exposure to 21st century learning resources. They need to collaborate with their peers and lead by example.

We are 95% African-American, 2% Haitian-American, 2% Hispanic and 1% Caucasian with 97% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school is located in the inner city of Miami, Florida. Although our students are faced with many socioeconomic challenges, they seek a high quality education to become productive citizens.

My Project

We are in dire need for earphones, math workbooks and writing tools to complete math assignments. The daily learning target is to build math fluency and the earphones will enable students to listen to their online tutorial videos.

My students need basic classroom supplies such as earphones, pens, dry erase markers and test preparation workbooks.

The dry erase markers will be used by our students on their dry erase boards.

All of these resources will help our students and teachers prepare for Florida's annual math exam. Having these resources on hand ensures students are ready to complete their math assignments upon arrival.
