My Project
Our classroom is in dire need of a new rug when we are doing whole group literacy instruction in front of our Smart TV and easel. Students will sit on the rug during morning meeting, Read-Alouds, Heggerty Instruction and Really Great Reading Instruction. This rug has individual circles with each letter of the alphabet in one which would also serve as spacing so the students pay more attention and able to learn without distractions. This rug could also serve as a learning center where students could match cards to each letter on the rug and be used for other alphabet activities.
