My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners that come to school ready to learn. But sometimes things happen and they are unprepared. Periods aren't always predictable as a teen and this causes a lot of anxiety and stress. I want all my students to be able to help themselves to my care closet when they are in need of hygiene products.
My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less stressed or anxious about being embarrassed in front of their peers when they know where they can come for period supplies.
I want to continue to offer basic supplies to students in need so that they can continue to focus on their education.
The other supplies will help bring some energy to class. White boards are great in a variety of lessons and the students love them. The knives will help with cutting skills with the life skills population. We currently have plastic knives that just aren't cutting it!
