My Project

I have had this special group of students for 3 years. After having had these students in 6th and 7th grades, now it's time to prepare them for high school by using classic novels to explore themes, symbolism, figurative language.

These books have great literary merit and will spark great writing assignments and opportunities for discussion!

To Kill a Mockingbird is considered the Great American Novel. The Hobbit is considered THE fantasy novel for middle school readers.

I can't wait to do a deep dive into classic literature with these awesome kids!
