My Students

I teach all 3rd grade students math, science, and social studies at a Title I school. We try everyday to be better than we were the day before.

We use a growth mindset approach to learning to help us keep keeping on when the learning is challenging!

My students believe in the power of YET! We view failures as a chance to improve.

My students are special because despite not having many resources, we do our best every day to make learning fun and engaging.

My Project

I teach my 3rd graders math, science, and social studies in a departmentalized classroom.

Because learning is higher when presented through different modes, (interactive, discussion, musical) I use several different engaging websites in my classroom to help my students learn math, science, and social studies concepts.

All of these websites speak to the children and make loud noises so we need a nice set of headphones. We currently have been using an old classroom set that are breaking apart.

These headphones will make a tremendous difference in my classroom as we will use them for websites like Zearn, Reflex Math, Study Jams, and Classworks. All of these websites further the learning we have been doing during our lessons.
