This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is based on climate and environmental science and will be used as both a class pet with jobs for the kids and also double for a great opportunity for the kids to measure humidity as they take care of the terrarium that the pet is in. By having the students measure and chart data they are practicing charting small mock weather patterns which can be used to teach some environmental changes that we are experiencing in today's day and age. The children will be able to see the moisture meter go up and down on the tarantula habitat cage and see how the same thing happens in our atmosphere.
