Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Donors, do you remember graduating from high school, and planning to attend college but thinking you do not have the essential technology of a laptop to begin your freshman year in college? Do you remember not having enough support at your high school to assist you with obtaining the resources to fill your college dormitory? At my high school my students are lucky to have a College & Career Readiness Department to assist them with the college and career going process.

Students at my urban city high school are all recipients of the free lunch program, 90% of the students come from a household where they are first-generation students.

Regardless they are determined to be successful after high school and reach higher heights. I would like to award a scholarship of laptops to our hard-working Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the 2024 graduating class.
