My students need to enter college confident that they have all the supplies they need to be successful.

World, I hope you're ready! My students are leaders, readers, thinkers, writers, and trailblazers. Over the past 4 years, my students have worked hard as they have navigated the challenges of high school. They will undoubtedly have a tremendous impact on their NW Jacksonville community, and already have amazing plans to impact the world in thoughtful and compassionate ways.
This group of students is the first from our school to matriculate to college.
They have led the charge as the founding cohort in our school, and with their families, helped us establish a firm foundation in providing a college preparatory education and support services in an urban setting.
Eight years ago, many of my students enrolled in our school excited to be in a learning environment that was committed to prepare them to attend the college of their choice. For the past 8 years, they have worked to make this dream a reality. Now, as high school seniors, they are on the brink of transitioning into college, many as the first in their families to do so.
Ensuring that their transition is smooth is a priority for us, and part of that means making sure that students have the materials needed to be successful on campus.
When you know that you have what you need, you feel confident as a learner; which enables you to access and explore your campus differently.
Each of our students who participates in our College Signing Day will receive a gift bag containing sticky notes, pencils, and other supplies that they may need in college. One lucky participant will win the laptop, as a result of a raffle in which all participants will be entered.
Your support will show our students that it is not just their KIPP Jacksonville team and family who is committed to their success, but a larger team and family who believes that all students should be able to pursue an education that prepares them to lead fulfilling, choice filled lives.
