Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The iPad and Apple Pencil will transform math learning in our classroom, making complex concepts like geometry and algebra visually engaging and easier to grasp. With these tools, I can project step-by-step examples in real time, allowing students to interact with math in a hands-on way that builds confidence and reduces frustration. My goal is to make math more accessible, empowering students to explore and learn without fear of making mistakes.
This donation will also support students’ mental health by creating a learning environment that feels supportive and inclusive.
For many students, math can be a source of anxiety, but interactive lessons with digital tools help them feel more in control and connected to the material. My students are special because they bring curiosity and resilience to the classroom, even when facing challenges outside of school. This project will give them the tools to succeed in math while also fostering a positive and mentally healthy learning experience.
