Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my first year teaching Tk, and it has been excellent. My students are very artistic and creative; they like to create new things using all kinds of materials, especially paper and our new favorite paint sticks. They are also very curious by nature but have become more and more interested in how things work and the world looks around them. The science items I will help my students learn more about those things. I also have many newcomers who have yet to learn the language, I'm bilingual and can help a lot more but the Vocabulary cards will help them see and hear new words to help them acquire the new language. My goal is for my students to feel included and supported in any area of the classroom with current materials that will enhance their learning and spark more curiosity and creativity.
