Help me give my students the organization and availability for school supplies as teachers have to move from room to room during blended learning. The bookshelf where materials are stored was broken when moved across the room.
I teach math to special education students in a public high school setting. Students have many classifications including learning disability, emotional disturbance, visual impairments, and other health impairments. Our classroom is small and does not have any technology (one of the 4 classrooms without a smartboard). My students struggle with basic math concepts and can benefit from enlarged materials, guided notes, and hands-on activities. All of my students work hard to succeed in the classroom and continue to stay motivated.
My Project
We are currently using a blended learning model. While in the building, I will be moving from room to room and could use a cart on wheels to bring supplies and materials to the students in different classes. The home base had a bookshelf with binders of lessons and various materials. Unfortunately, it was damaged while setting up the rooms for socially distanced learning. Color-coded bins will help the students (and me) find their daily activities, depending on the period of their class. All of these items will help the students and myself stay organized.
