Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give my students the gift of a class pet. This will give my students the opportunity to learn the responsibilities of taking care of a pet. On the weekends students will take the guinea pigs home but throughout the week they will live in my class. Students will take turns cleaning the cage, feeding them, and giving them comfort. My students are ready for the responsibility that comes with a class pet. They have taken a class oath to protect and care for our guinea pigs. They are so excited.
