My Project

My students, past and present, are my Rock Stars. I absolutely love teaching, and I am always looking for ways to reach and teach all of my students. Thanks to good parenting and positive classroom culture, my rock stars are kind, polite, intelligent, fun, creative, thoughtful, and enthusiastic learners! I teach at a Title l school, which means more than half of our families are at or near the poverty line.

They come to school each day excited to learn!

The primary years are such important years. I love to watch them grow both personally and academically. Although they are all very different and some face challenges, they all have one thing in common: they love coming to school!

Our classroom is a place of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. We would like to introduce an innovative and engaging addition to our learning environment: a classroom goose! This classroom goose needs to have outfits for every room transformation, and season.

Engagement and Active Learning: The presence of a classroom goose dressed in different outfits will captivate students' attention and stimulate their curiosity. This hands-on approach to learning will encourage active participation and enhance information retention.

Creative Expression: Students will have the opportunity to design accessories for the geese, fostering their creativity and allowing them to explore various artistic styles and design concepts. This aspect of the project will encourage students to think outside the box and develop their own unique ideas.

Storytelling and Communication: Interacting with the geese will encourage students to create narratives, write stories, and engage in role-playing activities. This will enhance their communication skills, promote teamwork, and boost their confidence in public speaking.

Experiential Learning: Direct interactions with the geese will provide students with a memorable and impactful learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom instruction.
