This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. We are located in a rural area of Phoenix, Arizona where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our school goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college. Classroom sizes range in the high 20's and low 30's. As we have made the transition back to in-person, our district has purchased Promethean Boards to help better serve our in-person and online students as needed.
My Project
Help keep our students in school. The products that I have selected will help my families, students and I a peace of mind of the air they are breathing. The air purifier is designed to clean a 960 sq ft area. Our students spend 7 hours a day in a closed off area and more if they stay for tutoring. My hope is to provide a cleaner environment while addressing student absences. I feel this will give my families peace of mind sending their little ones to school each day. The filter is said to be quiet and to filter out viruses.
