My Project
This project contains some needed supplies to help students succeed in a high school ESL classroom. It also includes some extra literary engagement titles, one being an entire class set of "Island of the Blue Dolphins" by Scott O'Dell. I am excited about the opportunity for this to be a stretch text and become an incredibly engaging unit for my students who are learning how to read in English. Reading through this book as a class would target all types of literary skills (decoding, blending, sight words, comprehension, fluency). I can't wait to get started.
