Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students of class 201 and 202 are brilliant 2nd graders who come to school eager to learn, in spite of their low- socioeconomic status. Since all of the subjects in the school are departmentalized, they spend the day traveling from classroom to classroom which takes up so much of their energy throughout the day.
My students are the reason why I come to work everyday, because I know they have the potential to strive high.
However, since they have an early lunch period and with the energy that they burn during the day, my scholars tend to get hungry by the middle of the day. My goal is to ensure that they have something to eat by the middle of the day so that they have the energy to focus in class.
