My Students
Our band students are extremely diverse. Many speak Russian, Spanish, Chinese, Urdu, or Uzbek and home. However, despite their differences, they all come together to make music. The great thing about our band program is that you don't need to be an academic all-star to be successful. We all communicate through the language of music, so everyone has the same fair shot to be outstanding.
Our students are outstanding and take music very seriously.
We have won many awards for outstanding performances and have packed concerts at school. Our students' parents value their music education.
My Project
We are a growing band program. Every year, more and more students want to learn how to play an instrument at our school! We are running out of clarinets to give students, as it is a very popular instrument.
This clarinet will really help us expand our band program.
We are hoping to slowly add to our instrument inventory, one or two instruments at a time. The more instruments we have, the more students we can have learning to play an instrument.
Having a brand new instrument is not a luxury most of my students ever get. The lucky student who plays this clarinet will be unbelievably excited and motivated.
