My Project

Being a fourth-grade student is hard these days with all that is happening in our communities. Social Studies Weekly promotes learning about state and community in a hands-on format. Additionally, there is a building community focus along with historical content in these materials.

What better way to encourage students than help them engage and make their school, city, and state a valued place for others?

These well-designed weekly newspapers are organized thematically to the strands of civics and government, geography, economics, and history. They are hands-on and interactive, spiraled and scaffolded, and research based. With support and guidance, these materials will focus on what can be done that makes their world a brighter place together.
