I teach almost 500 students in Kansas. 35% of my students receive a free or reduced price breakfast and/or lunch. There are also many special education students and ELL students (English language learners). I try to find new and interesting ways to help my students learn using music and other subject areas.
Every year students work on a music program for their family and friends and we would love some new music and supplies.
This year our K-1 theme is Circus Fun. Students work so hard to learn their speaking parts, music, and choreography for the show. Please help us get the supplies we need.
My Project
My students love singing. The best music programs always have great music, sound, backdrops, dances, and costumes. Our program this year is all about Circus Fun. The Circus is in town but the Ringmaster has come down with a case of laryngitis and we need to find a substitute, fast!
Join the clowns, jugglers, dancing bears, lions and a host of other hilarious performers as they help one very sad clown smile again.
With your donation, my students will get the Circus Circus classroom kit that includes the teacher's manual, reproducible pak, and performance accompaniment CD, two music theatre game books, and a book about careers in music theatre. These resources will give us music for our program, help bring my students out of their shell, as well as teach them about an exciting career in music theatre.
