Circuits, Magnets, and Volcanoes...Oh My!

Help me give my students a variety of exciting, fun, hands-on science materials, including circuits for our electricity unit, for 4th grade experiments! This will make science come to life!

My Project

My 4th grade students are incredible people with such a great desire to learn. We are connected, positive, and ready to get back to learning together! These students have done an amazing job of adapting to changes and are motivated to have some fun in the classroom!

Over the past year and a half, COVID-19 has had a huge impact on how students learn and their ability to work together.

Science was very difficult to teach with restrictions, such as working in groups, learning from each other, and using hands-on materials. Students have not had necessary experiences to help them learn how to work together, whether in partners or groups. Science was not motivating when we were restricted to just discussing science instead of the real life discovery that students love.

The science materials will allow students to learn by doing and will help then learn how to work cooperatively together which has been lacking for them over the last year and a half. My students will be bursting with excitement!
